👉🏽 Lazy Parenting Tricks That Turn Out Top Kids
Between juggling soccer practice, ballet recitals, and managing household chaos, it's tempting to resort to autopilot parenting. Yet, embracing a bit of "laziness" could actually be your secret weapon. Believe it or not, research suggests that doing less can be the best thing for your child's independence and creativity! Studies have found a link between over-scheduling children's activities and increased anxiety and depression.
Unstructured playtime allows them to explore their creativity, solve problems independently, and maybe even discover hidden talents. So next time you feel the urge to micromanage their every move, take a deep breath and hit the pause button. You might be surprised at the amazing things they come up with (and the sanity you save in the process).

💡Laid-Back Parenting Pro Tip: Establish a 'Boredom Jar' filled with simple, open-ended activity ideas like "make a time capsule," "come up with a new sport," "draw a map of a fantasy world," or “find the name of that plant outside.” Whenever kids claim that they're bored, have them pick one. It encourages self-directed play and gives you a break from constant entertainment duties.
👉🏽 Spring Fling into Fun with Our Magazine! 🌸 Yep, spring is here to stay. Time to pry your kids away from their glowing rectangles and into the glowing sunshine! But fear not, weary parents! We've got your back (unlike those rickety lawn chairs you haven't replaced since, ahem, 2011).
📗 Crack open our Spring Magazine, where you’ll find strategies to help kids thrive in sports. And there's more! We've also stitched together a local events guide for Johns Creek, Duluth, Suwanee, and Alpharetta. It's bursting with info on everything from local events like Easter festivities and arts festivals (time to start young!). So grab your brood, ditch their devices, and get ready to reconnect with nature (and maybe outrun a rogue squirrel or two). |
